Two more awards for our Hello Maggie! have arrived from Italy, specifically from the South Italy International Film Festival. A big thank you to the jury!
Our short film received a special mention for its animation and for its musical score.
Hello Maggie! is currently taking part in several film festivals, and these are just some of the recognitions that continue to confirm the outstanding work of our director, Tony Tarantini, and his crew.
The “Lifetime Achievement Award” at the SPARK Animation Festival
“We are delighted and honored to announce that legendary animator Willie Ito has received the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award at the SPARK Animation Festival, on the occasion of the Canadian premiere of his new film Hello Maggie, held this weekend in Vancouver, BC.

A complete success!! “Hello Maggie” premiered yesterday at Heart Mountain, Wyoming! Congratulations Willie and Tony and Carlo!! And of course, Sheridan College, Toronto, and the Nemo Academy of Digital Arts, Florence.

The song of “Hello Maggie!”
Recording of the song Hello Maggie in Japanese, the lyrics are taken from a poem by Shisei Tsuneishi written in 1942 during his stay in the Heart Mountain camp, composed by Carlo Chiarotti and sung by Yui Horio and played by some members of the Florence Pops Orchestra, special guest Kanae Nozawa with her Erhu.

The intro of Hello Maggie!, the new animated series created by Willie Ito, will be presented in the United States on July 24.
The soundtrack is composed and conducted by Carlo Chiarotti, an Italian composer from Florence, leading the Florence Pops Orchestra.
The recording took place at Studio Larione 10, the legendary studio where many of Italy’s greatest bands have recorded.
